Fat City Innovation
Center
EAT = Entrepreneurship, Art & Technology
In the Center, these three areas of focus intersect and reinforce one another to create a new kind of public knowledge hub. The EAT Center will contain an e-library — a branch of the Jefferson Parish public library that will provide technology access, maker spaces, and editing and recording facilities — and co-working and incubator spaces — including many of Jefferson Parish’s premier economic development agencies as tenants. The Center will provide public events space, a rooftop deck and a new neighborhood park. The Center’s development also includes a new public parking garage to serve both the Center and surrounding neighborhoods.

A visionary public building that will catalyze investment, drive business growth, increase technology access and support innovation.
